Was the Director Good? Yes!

I'd like to put in some good words about Star Trek director J. J. Abrams, he really handled this well because he really possesses the requisites of the ideal sci-fi movie director. He knows how to put all the ingredients together and bring out the best from his palette of actors.

There is a subtle musicology as well. He knows just when to put in that Star Trek tune that trekkers go crazy about. And Leonard Nimoy's voice over at the end was a nice touch! In terms of character development, though, it seems that Spock's character was more well developed than Captain Kirk's. I finish watching the movie with the realization that I understand Spock more than before. Kudos to the Spock actor! You really did a good job as well. I'm sure the director has a great deal to do with that, but so did your own inputs to the character, hey there, new Spock!
